Christmas play out at the band hall


MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Friends and family/whanau were welcomed to a Christmas play out - the final play out for 2018. The brass factory played a range of Christmas tunes including Jingle Bell Boogie and Christmas Swing.
These beginners also joined in with the Auxiliary band for a few tunes then the Auxiliary played a small selection of their repertoire.

AIKO RECEIVED HER BANDS PERSON OF THE YEAR FOR THE AUXILIARY BAND


Lorene was very pleased to present the award for bands person of the year to her fellow percussionist Aiko. Aiko supports Brass factory, Auxiliary and plays in the A Grade band. She is generous with her time and uses her experience to develop new players.

Hamilton City Brass Prize Giving

The theme for this years prize giving was sports and in true band tradition people relished the opportunity to dress up and celebrate.

Thank you to the organisers of this event who went to a great effort decorating the band hall. Thank you to everyone for supplying a scrumptious potluck meal.
