Waikato Bay of Plenty D Grade Champions for 2018

It is really awesome that I can post that Hamilton City Brass Auxiliary Band are now the Waikato BOP champion D Grade band for 2018.



Auxiliary Band Played the following:

Under The Boardwalk - soloist Daniel Seifert
Oregon - Test Piece
Colme - Hymn
This is Me - with Sofia Hassounia singing - entertainment piece
All That Jazz - Entertainment Piece

Awards

First Place: D Grade Band overall
First Place: Light Music
First Place: Soloist
First Place: Test Piece
First Place: Own Choice
First Place: Public Appeal
First Place: Auxiliary Band with the most points
Second Place: Hymn (first place went to our friends at  Matamata Brass Band)

It is also nice for the band to note we got the 3rd highest score on the day behind Eastern Bay of Plenty and Hamilton City Brass Senior Band (both of these bands are A Grade bands)

The Waikato Bay of Plenty Brass Band Competition 2018 included Solos, quartets, ensembles and brass bands. Hosted at Southwell School in Hamilton.
